SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Seconds after Linda Konstins beat computer solitaire on her flight from San Francisco to Boise, ID, she waited for congratulations from her fellow travelers but was disappointed when none came.

“I beat solitaire on my laptop and then I turned around so everyone could see what I did but no one paid any attention,” said Konstins. “I even tried coughing but no one said anything. So I just started another game.”

Konstins was unable to beat the game for a second time during the remainder of her flight but says that next time she hopes someone will acknowledge her achievement.

“It’s not every day that someone beats solitaire” said Konstins. “I guess I just figured everyone would think it is as important as I do. What kind of world do we live in where beating solitaire is no big deal?”
