MADISON, WI – At a New Year’s party, local man Jerome Beeg would not talk about anything other than the time he met John Mayer in an elevator much to the chagrin of other party goers.

“Jesus Christ!” said Kay Williams. “Jerome would not shut the fuck up about John Mayer. First of all, who gives a shit about John Mayer and second of all, who gives a shit about standing next to John Mayer in an elevator? Answer: no one.”

Despite attempts to discuss other topics, Beeg continued to bring every conversation back to his recent encounter with Mayer.

“I tried to get him to talk about other stuff but every time anyone mentioned anything he would somehow relate it to John Mayer,” said Nathan Homme. “If I asked him about the Red Wings the dude would just say ‘the Red Wings are having a good year but you know who is having a really good year? John Mayer. I met him a couple days ago.’ No one gives a shit about meeting John Mayer. No one.”
