LINCOLN, NE – Local man, Dean Jeffries, is looking forward to sharing his thoughts and views on the Israel-Hamas war with his coworkers at the upcoming office holiday party.

“The holiday party at work is the perfect time and place for me to tell everyone the real truth about that whole Israel and Hamas war,” said Jeffries. “It’s an important issue and I think it’s best that we talk about it during our company holiday party. Lately, I haven’t been able to talk to anyone about the whole situation, and I really want to. I have facts and I need to get them out there.”

Jeffries says he hasn’t prepared anything specific and instead will riff on the topic of the Israel-Hamas war.

“Based on what people know, or don’t know, about the war will probably dictate what I tell people about it,” said Jeffries. “Knowing my coworkers, I’ll probably have to correct a lot of their misunderstanding because they definitely won’t know as much about the war as I do since I’ve been doing some research on it – like listening to podcasts and stuff. But it will be good for my coworkers to hear the real story. They will probably thank me for it.”

To ensure everyone at the office party has a chance to hear Jeffries thoughts and views on the Israel-Hamas war, he will work to inject those views regardless of any existing conversation topics.

“I think my coworkers really want to know what the real issues are (in Israel and the Gaza Strip) and whose fault it all is,” said Jeffries. “And I know a lot about that because I’ve listened to a couple podcasts about it so I’m more than happy to share some facts. Everyone wants to talk about it and they might just be nervous so I’ll make sure to bring it up every single chance I get.”

According to coworkers, Jeffries typically uses meetings and office parties to spout his thoughts on controversial or sensitive issues.

“During Covid, (Jeffries) was almost insufferable in meetings,” said co-worker Stan Castaneda. “(Jeffries) would just randomly start talking about where Covid came from or how it was spread. The shitty part is that, like, 90 percent of the shit he was saying is so wrong. In one meeting, he claimed that Covid was created by a guy named Ted in Oklahoma who was trying to create a new barbeque sauce and accidently created a horrible virus. Seriously. The fact that he was able to say that all with a straight face is amazing but what the fuck man?”

Despite the fact that his knowledge was gained recently, Jeffries insists that his co-workers need to know what he knows.

“People live in a bubble and they really don’t pay attention to what’s going on in the world,” said Jeffries. “Yeah, we have a lot of freedom here in the states, but do you think that the Gazan’s have that much freedom? No, they don’t. And that’s why Hamasians are trying to take the land back. See, I listened to this podcast called ‘The Straight Bullshit’ and let me tell you, they don’t mess with any bullshit, as the name would suggest. Nope, it is 100 percent facts that the average person here in the States doesn’t know about. You should really check it out. It’ll open your eyes.”

According to fellow employees, there has been talk about cancelling the party this year.

“Yeah, they’ve talked about cancelling the party or maybe moving it to a different location and not telling (Jeffries) where it is” said Castaneda. “I’d be all for either. I mean I love to go get shitfaced on the company dime, but having to listen to (Jeffries) with no mute button? I don’t think I can do that again.”
