Guy at Concert Really Into Vinyl Records

CLEVELAND, OH – During several different conversations with several different people at a recent Mates of State concert, local man Landon “Buster” Keane mentioned several times that every album he’s purchased in the past year has been on vinyl as apposed to CDs or online music stores.

Keane volunteered this information without it being relevant to any of the conversations.

“I don’t even know who the dude is,” said concert goer Jayden Streg. “He walked up to my girlfriend and I and told us his name was Buster. And then he just started telling us that he only buys music on records now. Then he started talking shit about us buying music through Amazon. Whatever. The dude drives a Jetta so we all know what that means.”

Keane said he has decided to buy only vinyl records because of corporate monopolies and that the sound produced by records is superior to CDs and downloaded music.

“It’s not like I’m holding the fact that I buy records over anyone’s head though I kind of am because that means that music means more to me than anyone else that doesn’t buy records because the corporations have ruined the sound quality of the music that bands put down when they are recording and the vinyl record is more pure and captures all the little things that are really important in the music that real music fans want to hear because that’s the stuff that’s important and wait… hold on. My iPhone is ringing. I gotta take this,” said Keane.
