SIOUX FALLS, ND – Friends and family of Evan Brouwer are concerned about Brouwer’s sexuality and self image after his recent purchase of a Volkwagen Jetta.

“Everybody knows that Jetta’s are for chicks or, you know, funny kids,” said Brouwer’s step father, Wally Backes. “He traded in his F150 for a Jetta. Ah jeez! A friggin’ Jetta! I’m gonna have to talk to that boy.”

Brouwer himself says his friends and family have nothing to worry about and that he purchased the car simply because it was a “good deal.”

“I went online and did a search of ‘is a Jetta a chick car’ and one website I found said that only 43% of people think Jettas are chick cars. So that means it’s not a chick car,” said Brouwer. “And I’m not gay. I’m totally in to dud… I mean chicks. Don’tchya know.”
