Porn Industry Set To Allow Advertising On Actors Bodies

LOS ANGELES, CA – Following in the footsteps of Professional Boxing, the pornography industry will soon allow companies to sponsor actors and actresses. The Porn Actors Guild has OK’d the use of temporary tattoos on performers during filming of adult films.

While product placement has long been a staple of Hollywood productions, this agreement marks the first time actors and actresses will be allowed to advertise products using their own bodies.

According to Lance Herbum, PAG spokesman, the lubricants KY Jelly and AnalEaze were the companies responsible for forcing the issue.

“(KY Jelly and AnalEaze) came to us, we didn’t push for this at all,” Herbum said. “The negotiations lasted a little over a year but honestly, a lot of that time was spent testing the products to make sure all the actors and actresses within the guild felt comfortable with the products. Once everything was settled, companies started coming out of no where. I know of a couple stars currently being courted by Dell Computers.”

The move, which has been in the making for over a year, is seen as a great opportunity for both sides to increase both branding and revenue.

“Think about it, someone out there will see a company’s name across my tits, and BAM, they want to go buy that product. Everyone wins,” said porn actress Chesty LaRue, who is known for her overly large breasts. “Right now I’m mulling over several offers. I’ve already sold my left tit to World Book Encyclopedia and my right ass cheek to Virgin Atlantic. But I’m holding out for something really special for my right tit. That one’s my favorite.”

While many stars and companies are jumping at the chance to purchase ads on performer’s bodies, some think that it may be a bad idea.

“I know that I’ll make a whole bunch of money if I do it, but it just seems weird to me,” said Big Dick Mick. “I got a call the other day from the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints. I guess they figured they could convert some people. That’s pretty fucked up. Seriously, who wants to see a verse from the Book of Mormon on some dudes back as he rails a chick in the ass? I sure don’t.”

As of last month 140 companies have expressed interest in sponsoring porn stars. One of the biggest is Marborol cigarettes.

“With all the restrictions against advertising cigarettes we really are running out of options. That and we think that Marborol and porn go hand in hand,” said Mark Taggert, Morborol Vice President of Marketing. “Our market research says that most people enjoy a nice, cool, refreshing, eternal youth inducing cigarette just after the finish whacking it. Also, our key demographic happens to be 16 to 18-year-old males. And since Cinemax doesn’t have commercials, we naturally came to the porn industry.”
