NEW YORK, NY – Summer is in full swing and summer fashion is flying off the shelves. Inspired by changing weather and a changing economy, this year’s summer fashion trends are both light and cheap. To help keep our readers current, The Scoop News has gathered some fashion industry experts to detail the hottest new summer fashion trends.

The same clothes you wore last year but with a couple more stains
“The economy is on all of our minds, yes,” said E! News Fashion Editor, Frendriquin Elfanasion. “So what many top designers are doing is looking back, going retro. All the way back to last summer and reusing those same designs. Of course, the designs are being updated with new stains, a little bit of fading, maybe a couple holes. It’s a look everyone can work with… unless you got really, really fat since last summer and if that’s the case… I don’t even wanna, mmmmmhmmmm.”

Crate paper streamers
“One super flexible summer fashion tip is just to get out to the dollar stores and buys yourselfs some of that… streamers stuff, you know, for the parties,” said Vouge writer, Gloria Sizuki. “You can buys yourselfs one, or two if you are a fat, and wrap yourselfs up in that streamers paper. But make sures that you do not spend too much of the time outside because your sweats will just ruin it for yous.”

Clothes from deep in your parent’s closet
“Inspiration can be found anywhere and one place that can be a true goldmine is your parent’s closet,” said Fashion Forward Editor, Marc VuWalden. “Now I wanna stress something here. This should only be used in the case of your parents withholding money from you to go buy real clothes, ok? If that happens, what you can do is, when they are not at home, go dig deep in to their closet. Gold shirts with shoulder pads and dark gold trim? Yes. Shirts with tassels and zippers? Yes. Forrest green everything? Yes. Yes. And more yes! Take it all and wear it like you discovered it even though you didn’t and you are only wearing it because your parents just don’t anymore.”

Garbage Bag dresses
“When you think about high fashion, you want form and function, hence this year’s hot new look – garbage bag,” said fashion icon Maria Nerdfur. “If you are wearing a garbage bag dress, and it starts to rain, guess who’s not going to get wet? Though not that it rains anymore. The other great thing about garbage bag dresses is that a lot of bags these days are very strong and durable, so you can wear them several times! And they also come in fantastic scents like lavender or mint, so you don’t even need to wear expensive perfume! I think you can buy a roll of them and have a month’s worth of dresses in one little box.”

No clothes at all
“Perhaps the best tip that I can give for summer fashions is to just go nude,” said the weird guy that lives at the end of the street and is always looking out his windows with binoculars, Jayson Reisdorph. “That’s super cheap. Nothing don’t cost nothing. People are, usually, really happy to see you if you show up somewhere naked. I will. I will like it very much. Unless you’re fat, or, you know, have gross tumors or something. So yeah, I say go for it, just go nude. All the time. And don’t close your curtains.”
